Field Manual FM23-5 for U.S. RIFLE CALIBER .30 M1. This manual belonged to Carl Shell while serving in WW2 as a Technician 4th Grade. The number of his Springfield M1 rifle is 2115011 which means it was produced in 1943.

This FM was given to me by Carl when visiting him at home in August 2012.
